On the morning of March 20th, Secretary of the Party Committee of Inner Mongolia  Autonomous Region and Director of the Standing Committee of the National  People's Congress, accompanied by the chairman of Long Energy visited Inner  Mongolia Hanglong Biomass Thermal power and conducted field research on the  construction of the company's direct combustion of agricultural and forestry  biomass thermal power cogeneration project. 

The person in charge of Hanglong  Thermal Power Company reported the project overview and the progress of the  project to the Party secretary. The Hanglong Project poured the first-party  concrete on November 1, 2017. After more than one year of intense  construction, the project has entered the comprehensive commissioning stage  and will be connected to the grid in mid-April. After the project is put into  operation, the annual power generation is 210 million KWH, the annual supply  of steam is 150,000 tons, and the heating capacity is more than one million  square meters. The project has been listed as one of 100 biomass cogeneration  demonstration projects by the National Energy Administration. 

The chairman of  Long Energy introduced the biomass cogeneration industry and the development  plan of Long Energy Company to the secretary in detail. The chairman of the  board pointed out that compared with the traditional thermal power project,  the biggest characteristic of the biomass direct combustion power project is  that its fuel uses agricultural and forestry biomass straw, which is a renewable  green energy project encouraged and supported by the state. With the strong  support of the local government, actively respond to President Xi's call of  "lucid waters and lush mountains are like gold and silver  mountains", plan to base on the rich biomass straw resources in Hetao  area, extend industrial development up and down, and establish biomass  circular economy industry chain. The first of the construction of the  grid area of agriculture and forestry biomass direct combustion cogeneration  project is the symbol of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, the green  environmental protection, energy conservation and emissions reduction  projects, and implement the strategy of resource depth cooperation with the  local government of key projects. Since the construction of the project, it  has been standardized management, comprehensive utilization of resources,  technological innovation, environmental protection, land reclamation, social  harmony and other six aspects, to explore a new model of green development,  harmonious development.
